Good book in installing confidence and tips on staying on track with manifestation。 But very aggressive with stating not to listen / read anything else other than this book in order to make the methods work

This book was absolutely horrible。 It was broken up into 2 methods of getting rich。 One was by Law of Attraction which has nothing to do with Science and the second had to do with asking God to make you rich which isn’t really biblical unless what your praying for is in line with God’s will for your life。 Lastly I listened to the audio version and I felt like I was listening to a robot。 I’m not sure what I was expecting; maybe something a bit more motivating。 But unfortunately this book was not This book was absolutely horrible。 It was broken up into 2 methods of getting rich。 One was by Law of Attraction which has nothing to do with Science and the second had to do with asking God to make you rich which isn’t really biblical unless what your praying for is in line with God’s will for your life。 Lastly I listened to the audio version and I felt like I was listening to a robot。 I’m not sure what I was expecting; maybe something a bit more motivating。 But unfortunately this book was not for me 。。。more

Read this for a book club。 I've heard a lot of these concepts before, but I hated the mix of religion and capitalism in this。 Wattles makes a point several times to emphasize that rich people don't have to underpay people that work for them but we know that many billionaires do underpay their workers。 I wish this bit hadn't been included or had been addressed more directly with case studies。 Its hard to believe in the "science" when we know so many people who've gotten to the top by stepping on Read this for a book club。 I've heard a lot of these concepts before, but I hated the mix of religion and capitalism in this。 Wattles makes a point several times to emphasize that rich people don't have to underpay people that work for them but we know that many billionaires do underpay their workers。 I wish this bit hadn't been included or had been addressed more directly with case studies。 Its hard to believe in the "science" when we know so many people who've gotten to the top by stepping on others。 Our entire country was literally built on slavery。 。。。more

I liked this book。 It was okay。 It has some good ideas in it。 I give it four out of five stars because it has some good ideas in it, but there are some things about it that are not quite right。 I can get over its shortcomings for the knowledge it shares, and the positivity and encouragement found herein。 Although it was moderately enjoyable, I will probably not read it again。 The conceit is a little shortsighted。 It tries to dominate the reader's psyche; it is trying to be a monopoly on The Scie I liked this book。 It was okay。 It has some good ideas in it。 I give it four out of five stars because it has some good ideas in it, but there are some things about it that are not quite right。 I can get over its shortcomings for the knowledge it shares, and the positivity and encouragement found herein。 Although it was moderately enjoyable, I will probably not read it again。 The conceit is a little shortsighted。 It tries to dominate the reader's psyche; it is trying to be a monopoly on The Science Of Getting Rich。 。。。more

100 year old wisdom that is agelessSo concise, so precise, so vivid。 Wildly motivational。 Don’t think I’ve highlighted and annotated a book this much。 I certainly plan to keep it as a companion reference and know I can reap rewards from its implementation。

Workbook is not thought provokingThe workbook is more of a study guide as if taking a test。 It is not an a workbook that guides in taking action steps。

Miguel Espinoza

It was written in 1910。 With that in mind, there is much wisdom in it though not very “scientific”。 The most important point I learned was that many of my limiting beliefs around money were tied to the idea that my success was tied to someone else’s failure。 This is helping me look at success as a cooperative goal rather than a competitive one。

Hacerse RicoEl libro nos indica un camino a seguir para poder tener exito。 Nos pide hacer cada cosa que hagamos exitosa。 Hay riqueza para todos en el mundo sólo tenemos que pensar en cómo tomarla

Not what I expected Easy read but not what I expected。 It got very religious。 Not what to expect when science is in the title

Some good reminders in here about the importance of your thinking and how to think about the world。 Wattles' original version is a handy and easy-to-digest 100-page guide to dip into, and is something that would be beneficial to re-read to remind myself of some of the principles。 This book contains his original version, as well as an updated version which is very similar to the original text。 Some good reminders in here about the importance of your thinking and how to think about the world。 Wattles' original version is a handy and easy-to-digest 100-page guide to dip into, and is something that would be beneficial to re-read to remind myself of some of the principles。 This book contains his original version, as well as an updated version which is very similar to the original text。 。。。more

Great older book。 Most of the book is vague。 It looks at the bigger picture, and it has a ton of concepts like the law of reciprocity, gratitude, positive thinking, thought frequency, visualization, etc It probably isn't for everyone, but I enjoyed it! It's called the "Science of getting rich" but I was bombarded with pages about God and faith。 There's at most 2 principles in this book: believe in what you want and take action towards it。 The whole book is just repeating these over and over again。 Another thing that stroke me negatively was the way it indulged in it being the only right way, similar to what the Bible is, as if this book is the Bible for getting rich and we should not doubt it, should not ask questions as to why it is like that It's called the "Science of getting rich" but I was bombarded with pages about God and faith。 There's at most 2 principles in this book: believe in what you want and take action towards it。 The whole book is just repeating these over and over again。 Another thing that stroke me negatively was the way it indulged in it being the only right way, similar to what the Bible is, as if this book is the Bible for getting rich and we should not doubt it, should not ask questions as to why it is like that, and must always carry it around and reread until queen principles are engraved in our minds as if the Bible itself。 I have nothing against religion, but I definitely wasn't prepared for a book like this to be about God and faith in his will and his idea of our lives。 。。。more

A bit sure of itself, but that's the entire point。 Definitely an interesting text for those who believe that reality can be affected by thought (a surprisingly esoteric idea for a pretty simple book)。 A bit sure of itself, but that's the entire point。 Definitely an interesting text for those who believe that reality can be affected by thought (a surprisingly esoteric idea for a pretty simple book)。 。。。more
